Published in the year 1894, “The Jungle Book” is a collection of different stories written by late British Nobel Prize winner, Rudyard Kipling. Initially, all the stories were published in a magazine and were illustrated. The illustrations were made by Kipling’s father, John Kipling. The stories were written when Kipling lived in Vermont, United States.

East of Eden – John Steinbeck

Overview:
First published in September 1952, “East of Eden” is a novel written by Nobel Prize winning American author, John Steinbeck. It is considered by many to be the most ambitious novel written by Steinbeck and describes the lives of 2 families, the Trasks and the Hamiltons, in detail. When written, the novel was directly addressed to Steinbeck’s sons, John and Thom, who were very young.
